Okay, I already thought DJ and Shea deserved a great review, but somehow they managed to make this whole experience even better. When I went to pick up my Kia K5, the A/C was being taken care of by Kia, so I had to wait just a little longer to officially bring her home. And after everything we had already been through with the Escape, I was basically like, “Of course. Why would anything involving me and a vehicle be simple?” 😂 But THIS is where DJ deserves some serious recognition. When the car was ready, DJ personally went to pick it up, and while driving it back to the dealership, he noticed the steering wheel had a shake to it. Now, he easily could’ve brought it back, handed me the keys, smiled and sent me on my merry little way. I probably would’ve gotten halfway home, felt the steering wheel shaking, and immediately started wondering what fresh chapter of my automotive trauma we had entered. 😂 But he didn’t. DJ noticed something wasn’t right and immediately had their service department look at it. It turned out the car needed new tires, and DJ and Shea made sure it was completely taken care of before I took the car home. THAT is customer service. DJ didn’t just sell us a car. He paid attention. He cared about what he was handing over to us. And after everything we’ve dealt with, the fact that he caught that shake himself and made sure it was fixed meant more to me than he probably realizes. DJ, you are an absolute rockstar. ⭐🥰 From dealing with us through the Escape saga, the trade-in, the endless conversations, the laughs, the tears, the “Brittany and Tyler” era , and certain jokes involving totally normal and absolutely-not-suspicious forms of rent payment that shall remain between the people who were there 🤐😂… you somehow kept us laughing through all of it. And Shea — THANK YOU for continuing to stand behind everything and making sure we were taken care of. Between the fair trade, working with us on the K5, helping with the warranty, and now making sure the tires were handled, you guys genuinely made us feel like you cared about us after the deal was made, not just while you were trying to sell us a car.🙏🏼 That says everything. After the absolute emotional roller coaster that has been my vehicle situation, I finally drove away in my K5 feeling happy, confident, and taken care of. 🥹❤️ If you’re buying a car here, ASK FOR DJ. Seriously. Protect that man at all costs. Give him a raise. Give him a trophy. Update to an earlier review- We recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership and had to make a return visit shortly after for a slight issue with the car. Honestly, even having to come back gave us an even greater appreciation for how incredible this dealership and their team are. Starting with Avon, the Client Services Specialist — the REAL star of the show! He is absolutely hilarious, so easy to talk to and joke around with, and genuinely fantastic at his job. He made what could have been an annoying situation feel completely stress free. He is truly a breath of fresh air and the kind of person who makes you remember why great customer service matters. And then Sales manager Shea — sweet Shea. ❤️ He is genuinely one of the sweetest humans ever. He went above and beyond for us and made sure we felt taken care of every step of the way. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and takes pride in doing things the right way. If we have to see Shea again, it honestly won’t be soon enough! And of course, DJ, our salesman — the coolest guy around! He was just as helpful and accommodating when we came back as he was when we originally purchased the vehicle. He made everything easy, answered whatever we needed, and was there to help without ever making us feel like a burden. We drove from Cleveland to Columbus specifically for a car on their website, and I can honestly say it was worth every single minute of the two hour drive and the couple of hours we spent at the dealership. We will absolutely be coming back here for a long time to come! First, DJ, our salesman- he was truly one of the kindest people we’ve ever worked with at a dealership. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicles, patient, personable, and just genuinely enjoyable to talk to. He was also so kind and patient with my 13 year old. He never made us feel rushed or pressured and made the entire experience so easy and enjoyable. Next, Shea, the sales manager- literally SO nice. He was not the typical overbearing sales manager you sometimes encounter at dealerships. He was personable, friendly, chatty, and genuinely pleasant to work with. Not rude or pushy in the slightest. He made us feel comfortable and welcomed rather than like we were just another sale. And finally, the finance manager- AJ, we were so impressed with him as well. He was completely transparent and didn’t hide a single fee. He was straightforward about everything he was offering, explained things without rushing us, and never once made us feel pressured or uncomfortable. We actually enjoyed sitting in his office and talking with him, which is not something I think most people say about the finance department at a dealership 😂. And honestly, even the other salesmen we interacted with were incredibly friendly. At this point, I’m convinced being ridiculously nice must be a requirement to work here. Everyone we came across was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely pleasant. From start to finish, everyone we dealt with was kind, honest, personable, and professional. I had such a great experience at Toyota Germain of Columbus! DJ got me into a 2021 Grand Cherokee, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I already knew which vehicle I wanted, and DJ reached out to me the same day to see if I wanted to come in for a test drive. He was super helpful from the very beginning! Sulayman Nyang was a pleasure to work with. He was great at communicating through the process, attentive to each and every question or concern that my family and I had brought to his attention. The only complaint I had which wasn’t a direct reflection of Sulayman was the wait from the time that we were done with our paperwork to the time we got to be in contact with the the finance staff. I can only say that our experience on Friday July 26, and the purchase completed on Monday the 29th. The purchase was so pleasant from start to finish compared with experiences over the years with some dealers. Shea was a great person to represent Germain in the used car business. No pressure, just comfortable information about a purchase and the Germain dealership and the Germain family approach to making customers happy when they left the dealership. On the way home on that Monday, it became aware that our car had some brake issues. When we got home, I called Shea and he contacted the service department and I received a phone call. I WISH THAT I COULD GIVE YOU THE NAME OF THE SERVICE ADVISOR THAT CALLED ME, and handled my vehicle’s issue. He was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He advised us where we could relax and provided us with a very nice vehicle to use during the repairs. During that time he kept us informed by text the progress with my car. He informed us when the repairs were completed. We filled the car up with gas, and returned to the service department. Our service advisor told me what had been done to repair the problem that I had experienced. Again very nice attitude and he looked forward to seeing me for my service at a later date. I only wish that could give you the name of our service advisor. With our service records I’m sure that you can get his name and compliment on his work ethic.

I had a nice and friendly experience getting my sister's oil change done. Lucky enough I did not have to wait for as long as they quoted me. Everyone was friendly, especially Scott G. These 5 stars are definitely for him. He answered my questions and addressed any concerns I had. I recommend Germain Toyota and Toyotas period! Thank you all!

I love this service Department! I always feel well taken care of. Chris is my usual go to person there but this last visit Karina checked me in and she was wonderful. My car came in for a regular maintenance but ended up needing new tires due to damage I had picked up and did not know about. She worked to get me the best deal I could and a way to get my other errands done while I waited for the unexpected repairs. Up and beyond service. That is why I will continue to go here for my service needs even though it 40 minutes from home! Thanks Karina!
