Hello, I’m Troy Almanson; Service Director for Germain Toyota of Columbus. The Germain Family presented the opportunity to become a part of their team in 2016 as a Service Advisor. My unique technical experience and customer satisfaction background led to the opportunity for my current position. I was born with a passion for taking things apart and finding out how they worked. My mother grew tired of me taking apart my bikes, lawnmowers, and household appliances within no time so I had to center my focus elsewhere, or else. That’s where my love for cars began and by the time I was 14, I was doing oil changes, brake jobs, and starting to tear into so much more.
I grew up in the Mansfield area, spelling Tygers with a “Y” while playing basketball and football during my youth. Shortly after graduating, I relocated to Columbus to continue my education in Engineering and Computer-Aided Drafting and Design. Away from work, I enjoy working on my Suzuki K7 Gsxr 750 motorcycle, listening to live music from my favorite new-school jazz and hip-hop artists, and diving into anything I can read: from my favorite comic books and graphic novels to poetry and self-help books; as well as, my Sunday football routine with an incredible group of friends, I think of as family. Here we go, Steelers, here we go! The most rewarding part of my position is providing my team with the right support and tools needed to provide our customers with exceptional service and the security of knowing they can depend on their vehicle every time they turn the key or push the start button. I look forward to meeting you during your service visit at Germain Toyota.
