Toyota Safety Connect® Emergency Roadside Protection

Toyota Safety Connect

What is Toyota Safety Connect®?

Toyota’s Safety Connect® is designed to be there for you in the event of an emergency. This amazing safety system is designed to connect you with the Toyota Response Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the touch of a single button. Safety Connect® is a lot like a safety net that is there to catch you when you fall by providing you with faster response times from emergency services personnel. Keep in mind that a subscription is required in order to access Toyota Safety Connect®.

How Does Toyota Safety Connect® Work?

At the push of a single button conveniently located in the cabin of your Toyota vehicle, Toyota’s Safety Connect® will connect you directly with a 24/7 emergency response agent who can then send out the applicable emergency services to your location. This includes fire, police, and ambulance.

It also offers a stolen vehicle locator that allows the response center to assist police in finding your vehicle using the latest in GPS technology. This increases the chances of finding your vehicle significantly and often helps to reduce the amount of damage done to it by the thieves. Most law enforcement officers agree, the faster they are able to recover a vehicle, the better the chances of it being recovered with minimal damage are.

Using the SOS button will put you in direct contact with the response center when you have a breakdown such as a dead battery, a flat tire, run out of gas, or need to be towed. With Toyota’s Safety Connect®, you no longer need to purchase a membership in any other roadside assistance program.

In the event you are involved in a collision in which the airbags are deployed or a severe rear-end collision and are unable to press the SOS button yourself, your Toyota will contact the emergency response center on its own, automatically. The agent will attempt to reach out to you verbally while contacting the necessary emergency services personnel and dispatching them to your location.
