Cutting-edge driver-assistive safety features help place the Highlander among the safest vehicles in its class, providing peace of mind and confidence. If you’re searching for an SUV that the whole family can agree on, look no further than the Toyota Highlander.
What the Critics Say
Toyota’s Highlander is one of the most well-known three-row midsize SUVs around. It’s a great choice for growing families and offers versatility similar to a minivan but is more enjoyable to drive and easier to maneuver in most cases” — Edmunds
The latest Highlander has zero time for boredom. Its supercharged style leans into big swollen fenders and lots of angular breaks around its hood, not to mention a rackful of ribs on the XSE’s grille. It’s big and it is not shy about it. The interior’s more poised and pared-back, even in versions with a big 12.3-inch touchscreen and jazzier trim.” — The Car Connection
What’s New for 2025
Shoppers will find a handful of minor changes and updates to the popular Toyota Highlander for the 2025 model year. XSE and Platinum trim levels now come standard with all-wheel drive, a feature that was previously optional. Heavy Metal and Cement are two new additions to the exterior paint list while Moondust paint has been discontinued along with the Harvest Beige interior choice. Finally, Highlander XSE trims now default to Sport Mode upon starting.
Toyota Highlander Features

Bold Styling
Strong, athletic, and composed – the Toyota Highlander offers a look that’s bold and athletic. Thanks to its TNGA-K Platform featuring high-strength steel construction, the Highlander is built to be strong but also ride smooth thanks to a front strut and rear multi-link suspension. Attention to aerodynamics influenced the new design which has resulted in low wind noise and excellent vehicle stability. Chiseled character lines and flowing shapes strike the perfect balance between refinement and capability. At the front, dynamic LED headlights provide a striking complement to the front fascia. 20-inch alloy wheels are available to round out the commanding presence struck by the Highlander.

Luxurious Interior
Step inside the interior of the Toyota Highlander and you’ll find yourself surrounded by a collection of connectivity and comfort features. Offering your choice of seating for either 7 or 8 passengers, the Highlander is available with heated and ventilated front seats along with heated second-row seats for passengers. Open the optional Panoramic Moonroof to enjoy a wide-open view of the sky along with fresh air. Positioned in the center of the split-level dashboard, the stunning available 12.3-inch Multimedia Display is the largest in its class. This innovative system serves as your centralized location for standard wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Eliminate unnecessary clutter from cables and wires with available Qi wireless charging located in the center console along with plenty of storage spaces and USB charging ports.

Groundbreaking Safety
For the ultimate peace of mind on the road, every Toyota Highlander comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ (TSS 2.5+) — a collection of groundbreaking safety innovations.
