2023 TRD Package Overview

Toyota Racing Development – Making History Since 1979
Toyota recognized the principle of “what wins on Sunday, sells on Monday”, with race wins helping to build a global brand image of a winning brand. To help grow the success, Toyopet Seibi Co. Ltd. decided to change its moniker from TOSCO to Toyota Racing Development—and TRD was born. In 1979, Toyota Racing Development USA was founded and put in charge of improving production vehicles for greater performance.
TRD also supported Toyota’s racing interests across the globe in addition to producing a line of performance-oriented accessories for Toyota vehicles. This was a bold step that has benefited Toyota owners and racing enthusiasts around the world. From its humble beginnings as an aftermarket parts distributor and ‘speed shop’ in 1979, to one of the most accomplished and acclaimed engineering companies in the motorsport industry, it’s been a remarkable and championship-filled journey for TRD USA.
